OXI Books launched on 1 June 2026 to make assisted book publishing more accessible. Based in Oxford, the programme is funded by Rana Books and built around clear conversations with authors.
We handle the practical publishing work so a manuscript can become a finished book. The funded model and its no-royalty condition are explained before an author commits.

Do authors pay a publishing fee?
For an accepted OXI Books funded project, Rana Books pays the agreed publishing costs. Any scope and terms are confirmed in writing before work begins.
Will I receive royalties or sales income?
No. Under this funded programme, authors do not receive royalties, profit share or revenue from book sales. Review the complete written agreement before accepting.
Who owns the copyright?
The proposed agreement will set out copyright, licensing and other rights. Ask us for the exact terms and review them before signing.
Does worldwide distribution mean every shop will stock my book?
No. Distribution makes a book available through selected channels and territories; individual retailers decide what they list or stock.
